- Cláudio Ferro, PhD student at the University of Lisbon, Portugal (shared PhD co-supervision with Prof. Santos);
- Nadeem Hafeez, PhD student at the Universities of Chieti and Teramo, Italy (shared PhD co-supervision with Prof. Santos);
- Giulia Faversani (University of Pavia, Italy), Charlotte Vecchio (University of Pavia, Italy), and Elena Celi (University of Chieti, Italy), exchange master's students;
- Nasro Ginde, Stadin ammatti- ja aikuisopisto, Helsinki; laboratory trainee.
