Accommodation at the station

Accommodation is available at the station for both short- and long-term visits.

Our halls of residence can accommodate 150 people. The accommodation options range from simple double rooms (with a sink) to apartments with two bedrooms and a living room.

The largest hall of residence is that of the students, with a maximum capacity of 92. It includes a large common room, two kitchens, a fireplace and two saunas.

Long-term accommodation

The Piikala and Herrala halls usually host our longest-term visitors, teachers and seminar organisers. Both include a kitchen and shared space. Piikala also has a sauna.

Bed linen and laundry

Washing machines and dryers are located in Piikala. They are available subject to a small fee. Course participants have a washing machine and drying rooms at their disposal in the student hall.

Visitors are provided with bed linen and towels, but if you wish to save money on accommodation, you can bring your own with you. However, please note that sleeping bags must not be used in the beds at the station.

Pets

Pets are not permitted at the student hall. However, there are two specially priced pet rooms at the station. If you wish to take your pet with you, make sure well in advance that one of these rooms is available. The pet fee is 25 € per stay.
