Research days

Program's ten groups get together two times a year to share its expertise to the whole program.
It is again time to bring together the groups of the SleepWell program for the spring 2024 SleepWell Research Day!

During the Research Day, we’ll hear short presentations from the SleepWell research groups covering their current interests. For this, we have reserved a 15 min presentation time slot (+ 5 min for discussion) for each group. The presentations can be about recent data, new methodology, possible challenges, or future plans – whatever is ongoing in the lab. We particularly encourage PhD students and postdocs to take the stage.

To provide everyone an overview of the research done in the SleepWell, in the beginning of the presentation there should be 1-2 slides (max. 2 min) about the main research topic(s) and the methodology of the group.

The groups should inform Tiina Härkönen about the presenter and the title latest by Friday 22.3.2024.

We’ll also have some fun group activity. Moreover, if enough people would be interested, we could also organize some evening activity after the official program.

The keynote speaker will be Professor Pentti Tienari on "Narcolepsy - new autoimmune disease?"

Place: City Centre Campus, Faculty of Educational Sciences, Siltavuorenpenger 3 A, Athena room 168
