Philosophy of Education Research Seminar on 25th of May

Philosophy of Education Research Seminar is back and will be held on 25th of May from 10am to 12am (EEST).

The seminar is open for the researchers on the field and interested students. If you are interested in joining, ask anniina.leiviska@helsinki. fi or tarna.kannisto@helsinki.fi

The seminar will be held at Helsinki University on-site, in lecture room Minerva 325. Unfortunately, there are no streaming facilities in this room. Therefore, only live participation will be possible this time!

The seminar will be an intensive session with four presentations:

Tuija Kasa: On the philosophical foundations of human rights (education)

Ivan Zamotkin: Education in Dark Times: An Arendtian Perspective on Democratic Education

Anniina Leiviskä: Identity politics and democratic justice in education

Tarna Kannisto: Outline of the doctoral dissertation summary chapter

Each speaker will be allotted 20min presentation time and 10min for discussion.
