The Board of Trustees of the Viikki Arboretum is comprised of the owners and managers of the Viikki Arboretum:


  • Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry of the University of Helsinki
  • Faculty of Biological Environmental Sciences of the University of Helsinki
  • Culture and Leisure Division of the City of Helsinki
  • Urban Environment Division of the City of Helsinki
  • Helsinki City Construction Services (Stara)

The Board of Trustees is responsible for overall governance of the Arboretum and advancement of its mission. The Board of Trustees is appointed by the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry.

Chairman

Professor Kurt Fagerstedt from the Faculty of Biological and Environmental Sciences is the chairman of the Board of Trustees for the period 2018-2022.
