International cooperation

Examples of international cooperation projects in education at the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry

The Faculty is an active operator in international cooperation. Student and teacher exchange is primarily carried out through the Erasmus programme in the case of European countries and through bilateral agreements in the case of, among other countries, China. A list of all partner universities of the University of Helsinki is available on the University website.

The Faculty is one of the University’s most active participants in education cooperation projects implemented with external funding, especially in Erasmus+ capacity-building projects. Through these projects, the Faculty contributes to the development of education in, for example, the Greater Mekong Subregion and West Africa.

Faculty researchers collaborate diversely on the international stage. More details on these activities are available on the websites for each research group.
