Registration period for the conference is from the 6th of May until the 31st of October.

Please sign up for the conference with the registration form below. Please notice that the conference will be online only. The registration is open until 31.10.2021. Our cancellation policy and information on fees can be found both on the registration form and below on this page.

Participation includes 3 days of multidisciplinary sessions, discussions and expert presentations which are all available for registered participants until the end of the year 2021. Registered participants will recieve an invitation link for the conference platform closer the event date.

Presenting a poster

Poster sessions

Registration for poster presentations is open until 22 October at 23:59. All poster sessions will be organized online.

All are welcome to apply to present their research during the conference, but masters and PhD students are particularly encouraged to do so. The topic of your poster should be in keeping with the themes of the event. And please notice the poster should be presented in English, Finnish or Swedish.

To apply, please complete and submit the form below. Please also register to attend the conference through the seperate link above. Applications will be reviewed by the organizing committee and you will be notified of their decision by 29.10. f your poster is accepted, you will receive an e-mail with detailed instruction prior to the event.

Terms of cancellation: Conference delegate
Before 30.09.2021 refund possible minus administration fee 20 €, name change of participant is possible
1.10.2021 -31.10.2021 50 % refund minus administration fee 20 €, name change of participant is possible
1.11.2021 and after, no refund in case of cancellation

Exemption from participation fee

The People and Planet conference wants to welcome participants from diverse backgrounds and nationalities to join and contribute to the discussion on these global topics. To encourage all interested to join, participants from LDC -countries can be exempted from the conference fee based on their application.

The Virtual registration fee includes:
- entrance to the Conference sessions for three days virtually

* Includes undergraduate and graduate students at Master's and Doctorate degree levels
