The Aleksanteri Institute is a multidisciplinary research centre for Russian, Eurasian and Eastern European studies. We cultivate domestic and international research networks and encourage dialogue with other actors of the Finnish society. Our scholars' research themes vary from political systems, governance and civil society to energy production and climate change, carceral practices, international security, media, propaganda and many others.
