I am a cognitive and psychological anthropologist, working at the interfaces between culture and cognition, morality and cooperation. My regional focus is China, where I have worked on a range of topics including migration, one-child policy, gender, education, and child-development. I have also carried out comparative research in the UK and Finland. I currently teach: Persons and Social Relations, Contemporary Anthropological Theory, BA Seminar, Ethnographic Methodologies.
