Reproductive health

While reproductive health patients are primarily treated at the Production Animal Hospital, emergencies and patients requiring more demanding surgery are treated at the Equine Hospital.

Cases requiring hospital care include labour problems, postpartum metritis, and other genital diseases, including genital tumours.

At the Production Animal Hospital, mares are inseminated, and care is provided to mares and stallions with reproductive problems. In addition, the hospital collects stallion semen for freezing and carries out embryo flushing and embryo transfers.
