We study social movements, encounters with authorities and antiracism education. The podcast is created by the researchers in the project “Intersectional Border Struggles and Disobedient Knowledge in Activism”. The project is funded by the Academy of Finland and located at the Swedish School of Social Sciences, University of Helsinki.

In the Nordic countries, many social media platforms, activist groups and arts events are organised by Black, Brown and other People of Colour. Some of the activities are framed around antiracist feminism or African diaspora, others build for example on urban activism in racialised and marginalised areas.
