Research

Our group seeks to understand how terrestrial ecosystems will respond to global changes.

We apply the most recent geospatial technologies to understand how humans are affecting the natural environment. Our group use a large array of remote sensing tools, such as Terrestrial Laser Scanning, UAV sensor and satellite imagery, which are our main tools to measure how the biophysical characteristics of terrestrial ecosystems change throughout time and space.

In partnership with local collaborators, we have conducted several projects in the Brazilian Amazon, Malaysian Borneo, Kenya and Finland.

Read below a summary of some of our activities. Please do get in touch if you have more questions or would like to collaborate with us!
