Welcome to Loukovaara lab web pages! Our main interest is to understand the mechanisms of cell invasion and fibrovascular complications in proliferative diabetic retinopathy and other posterior segment eye diseases, as well as in cancer. Our group is a part of the Individualized Drug Therapy Research Program at the Research Programs Unit, University of Helsinki.
