Dr. Lauri Ojala, Professor of Logistics, Turku School of Economics, (University of Turku) will put the supply chain consequences of the Ever Given incident against the backdrop of the unusually high level of volatility that has affected container shipping during the past year.
Dr. Lauri Railas, Attorney at Law and the Average Adjuster in Finland will discuss some of the legal consequences of the casualty and blockage affecting those involved and beyond in the supply chains.
The discussion will be moderated by Dr. Ellen Eftestøl, Professor of Civil and Commercial Law, University of Helsinki, adjunct professor Scandinavian Institute of Maritime Law, University of Oslo.
