Call for extended abstracts

We invite submissions of extended abstracts of no more than 500 words. Deadline Monday June 20, 2022.

24-25 AUGUST 2022, SAVE THE DATE

In collaboration with the Finnish Swedish Chamber of Commerce (FINSVE), the INTERTRAN research group is organizing a two-day conference titled ‘Implementing “Fit for 55” – The right Logistics and Transport Infrastructure for a Net Zero-Carbon Future – The Nordics at the Helm?’ to take place in Helsinki on the 24th and 25th of August 2022.

The first day of the two-day conference will be dedicated to the Nordic shipping industry and the practical influence of the “Fit for 55” package, and it will feature presentations by invited participants.

The second day will be an academic conference featuring the following topics:

  • Climate Change – challenges and opportunities
  • Creating a sustainable physical infrastructure
  • Operational efforts towards net zero-carbon emissions in logistics and transport
  • Green financial instruments and economic incentives towards a net zero-carbon future
  • Digitalization of transport and mobility

The conference is open to scholars from different disciplines with a research interest in the topic (e.g. Law, Logistics, Economics).
