Our main research interests include characterization, utilization and conservation of plant genetic resources, DNA barcoding, biodiversity analyses, population genetics of plant invasion, conservation genetics and plant adaptation mechanisms. Our projects include both basic and applied research. A large part of our work is based on the use of different DNA marker and sequencing techniques and other experimental work. We are involved in extensive national and international research collaboration.
