There are several projects and research topics in our group. We explore various aspect of teaching and learning in Life Sciences. Here are some examples of our ongoing projects.

Assessment in learning

Research-based development of assessment is our passion. Recently, we have done research on peer assessment and self-assessment and developed digital assessment tools. One ongoing research topic is the development of self assessment to large university courses which is a joint project with the Faculty of Science.

Peer to peer teaching

Our new research project concerns the development of peer to peer teaching in university studies. At the moment we are conducting reserach on promoting interaction and communality at the university through peer to peer teaching.

Promoting psychological flexibility at university

This project aims to study the impact that psychological flexibility in learning and studying and also explore how an digital intervention can improve students well being, stress and psychological flexibility. This project is done together with researcher from other faculties, study psychologists as well as the Headsted company. In fall 2017 we are conductiong a pilot study of the digital intervention with pharmacy students.

Tablet computers and mobile learning in medical and dental education

This project explores mobile learning mainly in medical and dental education. The project promotes mobile technology in leanring and teaching and creates active learning environments.
