Biological cultural heritage refers to the genome of domesticated animals and plants that carry unique knowledge of the relationship between humans and the environment. The subject is interdisciplinary, since genetic genome (DNA) research is located in the natural sciences and, accordingly, the study of domestication history is one of the central areas of archeology.
