Helsinki Eye Lab is headed by Chief Physician Jukka Moilanen in close collaboration with Professor Ilpo Vattulainen and Chief Physician Niko Setälä. In addition to these senior members, the team currently includes two post-doctoral researchers, three doctoral students, and one undergraduate student. The combined expertise of the team in clinical research and basic science allows for unique approaches in ophthalmological research.
