I work as a Post-doctoral Researcher on topics related to participatory budgeting (BIBU project, Tackling Biases and Bubbles in Participation, Strategic Research Council at Academy of Finland funded) and energy awareness (ECO2 project, Energy Conscious Consumers, Horizon 2020 funded)
I work as a Principal Investigator in ECO2 (Energy Conscious Consumers) project and as a researcher in FIT4RRI (Fostering Improved Tools for Responsible Research and Innovation). Both projects receive Horizon 2020 - funding.
University researcher and associate professor specialised in the measurement of economic development and welfare. In particular, my research topics concentrate on the measurement of income, consumption and wealth. I have additionally researched the growth and distribution of income, consumption and wealth as well as the potential (balance sheet) risk of net wealth on economies. Besides the aforementioned research, I lecture at the university. I give annual courses in the master programme of social sciences on “Challenges of Globalization, Sustainable Development and Changing Society to the Measurement of Economies and Welfare” and in the Master's Programme in Contemporary Societies on "Introduction to the Framework of Economic Statistics". I work 25% for the Centre for Consumer Society Research, University of Helsinki and 75% for the European Central Bank.
I am working as a doctoral candidate at the Centre for Consumer Society Research. In my PhD, I study everyday food practices involving meat in Finnish households. I am interested in how these practices enact relations between humans, animals intertwined in food production, and the environment. Theoretically, my research is situated within practice theories and feminist care theories.
I am a researcher of technology and communication (Dr. Soc.Sc), whose research interests are widely connected to communication, technology, organizations and organizing, and digital methods. My current work investigates the uses of data, algorithms and automation in organizations, as well as the logics of the hybrid media system in consumer-business relationships. I have a strong interest in methods and methodological development, in particular using computational methods and large data sets in social research.
