Partnerships

Our research is conducted in developmental partnerships between practitioners, their clients, and researchers.

Examples include:

  • the development of the Mobility Agreement for the elderly and their caregivers in the home care of Helsinki;
  • the development of knotworking models and practices in construction industry;
  • the development of collective pest management models and practices among greenhouse vegetable producers.

Such partnerships foster forms of transformative agency understood as the participants’ capacity to take the future of their activity into their own hands.

CRADLE is embedded in a global network of researchers pursuing activity theory and formative interventions in all continents.
