Stem related courses in subject specific bachelor's programmes are upgraded (Output 3)

Bachelors’ progammes in Science, in Mathemathics and in Physics are upgraded towards Interdisciplinary Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Education approach.

The course contents and teaching methods are collaboratively revised creating pedagogically sound, up-to-date and coherent study modules that provide pre-service teachers the ability to teach STEM-skills in basic and secondary school pupils. An interdisciplinary approach in universities to curriculum planning and instruction is introduced in order to achieve a higher level of integration. One goal of applying STEM approach is to improve the access to quality science and math learning by closing the digital divide in pre-service teacher education. This output will use the previous Activities (see Activities 1-4) as resources.
