In Nanorauta project (ERDF: Sustainable growth and jobs 2014 - 2020 - Finland's structural funds program) University of Helsinki, Lahti Regional Development LADEC Ltd. and LAB University of Applied Sciences enhance and ease the business of SMEs in remediation sector in Päijät-Häme by mapping the administrative challenges associated with contaminated site purification, and by introducing and making a commercially viable new remediation method nanoiron-electrokinetics-biostimulation. The project will also intensify the expertise center of the contaminated site cleaning sector consisting of universities, companies and public authorities in Päijät-Häme.
