Political activism

The subproject on political activism is theoretically framed within the anarchist tradition in which education is perceived as an arena for social change toward a more just and democratic society. The subproject aims to utilize the theory of anarchism, as well as its implications to social movements and other forms of political activism in order to outline educationally valuable anarchist strategies both alongside and outside formal educational institutions. This project also includes theoretical engagement and justification of current political activism practices in education that are not labelled as anarchist per se but could be seen as forms of resistance through the lanes of anarchist theory.
