I work in Craft Science Craft Teacher Education programme. I am currently the person in charge of the study programme. My duties involve lecturing on craft pedagogy as well as coordinating and supervising teacher-training practice. I am also involved with teaching of the craft sciences and also Master’s, and Doctoral theses in Craft Science and Craft Education. In addition, I have examined PhD theses.
My research interests focus on various aspects of arts and crafts education from basic to university level, craft culture, gender and crafts, and societal aspects of crafts. I participate in national and international research projects.
I participate actively in a range of working groups of the Faculty of Educational Sciences.
