On November 12, FEM Group participated in a joint researcher meeting by Kotka Maritime Research centre, Merikotka.
The Merikotka Research Centre, founded in 2005 by the City of Kotka, is an interntional research centre focusing on multidisciplinary research to improve maritime safety and protect the marine environment. The research centre’s activities are based on collaboration between Univeristy of Helsinki, Univeristy of Turku, Aalto University, and South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences.
The meeting was an excellent venue for new group members to get to know Merikotka's activities and to meet researchers from other research institutes. New ideas for joint meetings and workshops
