The seminar will be held 23-24 May in Allas Sea Pool, Helsinki.
During the first day, 23 May, the workshop targets potential end-users of the tool developed in 30MILES project, such as port actors and owners, as well as regional planners. Presenting the systems analytic, research-oriented results of the project, answering the research questions, such as: What does the holistic sustainability mean in the small port context? Why is it important to think about and aim for? What could be done to reach it? How to start?
The participants will have a possibility to test the tool and their feedback will be used for the further development.
In the future the model code will be freely available in the Internet (only a license for a suitable analysis software is needed to run analyses).
During the second day, May 24, the seminar presents the results of the 30MILES through panel discussions.
