The Helsinki Rule of Law Forum hosted its second virtual meeting for its resource persons on April 27. The topic of the second webinar was "The significance of the infringement procedure, including the Article 260 TFEU financial sanctions mechanism, as an enforcement tool with regard to the rule of law".
This time, the topic was introduced by Judge Niilo Jääskinen of the Court of Justice, followed by comments from Principal Advisor Paul Nemitz of the Directorate-General for Justice and Consumers of the European Commission.
