SEISMIC RISK – OPEN SEMINAR

15.9.2021
Welcome to the SEISMIC RISK – Mitigation of induced seismic risk in urban environment – OPEN SEMINAR!

When: Tuesday 12 October 2021 at 9.30 – 15.30
Where: Teams (link provided to registered participants)
Registration: https://elomake.helsinki.fi/lomakkeet/113174/lomakkeet.html

University of Helsinki, together with the Geological Survey of Finland and VTT, is organizing an Open science seminar on the current activities in geothermal projects and preliminary research results of the Academy-funded SEISMIC RISK – Mitigation of induced seismic risk in urban environment – project.  The virtual event will take place on Tuesday 12 October at 9.30 - 15.30. It will be mainly in Finnish with a few of the scientific presentations in English. The Open Seminar is held in Teams. The link is provided to the registered participants, therefore, please remember to register to the seminar via this link.

The SEISMIC RISK – Open Seminar consists of scientific introductory presentations in seismic risk, project stakeholder communications, and scientific presentations of the project preliminary results, and discussion on the future tasks and goals of the project. See the preliminary program below. (Note that changes to the program are possible!).
