Dr. Nazanin Ezazi successfully defended her PhD thesis and becomes the 17th Honorary Member of Santos' Lab

The PhD thesis was on "Development and characterization of conductive drug-loaded scaffolds for tissue engineering applications". This is the 17th PhD dissertation of Prof. Santos' Lab, 13th as main supervision, in the last 11 years. Many congrats Nazanin!

As a result, Nazanin also became the 17th Hon­or­ary Mem­ber of San­tos' Lab. The Honorary glass piece called "The freshwater pearl” tells a story about the freshwater pearl mussel’s pearl and Finnish nature produced by Kari Alakoski at Mafka & Alakoski Oy.

This is a symbol of recognition for everything he did in our lab all these years.
