Alexandra from University of Leipzig, Germany will start her internship in the beginning of October. She is a second year chemistry major student and internship within RIP-team will be included in her degree. Her internship work will be related to calcite-groundwater interface processes.
Alexandra´s interest towards Nordic countries and Finnish system of teaching led her to apply for an internship in Finland. In University of Helsinki, besides her internship, Alexandra will be attending several university courses, including radiochemistry and green chemistry courses but also Finnish language courses.
During her stay in Finland, Alexandra has planned to visit Lapland and if COVID-19 allows, other neighboring countries as well.
