Published every two years, the State of the Nordic Region is a unique collection of statistics and maps from the Nordic countries focusing on, among other things, demographics, the labor market, the economy and education. The report monitors in particular the development of regions and municipalities in the Nordic countries.

The report is published by the Nordic Council of Ministers and produced by the Nordregio Regional Research Center. The Regional Potential Index, designed and implemented by Nordregio, is also published as part of this report and compares the performance of all 66 Nordic regions with traditional and comparable metrics.

Come and listen to how MP's and researchers discuss the report and how Peter Stadius from CENS sums up the discussion.
