Soila attends PhD course on Global Elemental Cycles and Environmental Change

The course was held at Lund University, Sweden

ABRU PhD student Soila Silvonen attended the course "Global Elemental Cycles and Environmental Change", hosted by Lund University, Sweden. The one-week course included an introduction to the biogeochemical cycles of carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus and silicon, as well as topical issues such as Arctic climate change and ocean deoxygenation, and was co-ordinated by Prof. Daniel Conley. The PhD students also presented posters about their own research at an open session on the first evening. Soila presented her work on the phosphorus-capture project at Kymijärvi, Lahti, Finland.
