Neuroscience Center invites applications for a new three-year NCA Member program

The new Neuroscience Center Associate Member (NCA Member) program provides researchers at the University of Helsinki co-affiliation to Neuroscience Center (NC) with strategic competitive research support for collaboration between NC and other top-level neuroscience research carried out across the life science campuses.

Neuroscience Center (NC) of HiLIFE Helsinki Institute of Life Science focuses on translational research in molecular and cellular neuroscience, developmental neuroscience, cognitive and systems neuroscience related nervous system diseases. NC research groups operate mainly in the Meilahti medical campus with some activities also in Viikki. NC hosts state-of-art for facilities and fosters collaboration with faculties and organizations with an interest in neuroscience at the University of Helsinki (UH).

NCA Member program provides researchers at the University of Helsinki co-affiliation to NC with strategic competitive research support. NCA Members are granted with funding of 30 000 - 70 000 €/year and gain access to NC research infrastructures. NCA Members are expected to conduct collaborative projects with other NC principal investigators, or develop novel research platforms or technologies that promote research in NC focus areas, and indicate their NC affiliation in publications and website.

Neuroscience Center is now inviting applications for a three-year NCA Member program from the UH principal investigators.
