ABRU journal club in the Helsinki sunshine

The group moved the monthly journal club outside when temperatures in Helsinki reached 25 degrees on 16 May.

ABRU hosts a monthly journal club in which we discuss recent papers of general interest to the group. This month's session was hosted by our PhD student Iines Salonen, who chose a recent study on the use of DNA metabarcoding of marine sediments in environmental monitoring. Also celebrating the submission of Iines' own manuscript earlier in the week, we decided to move the club outside to Gardenia at the Viikki campus.
