Avvudeimmet Sámi álbmotbeaivi ja Sámi leavgga Helssega universiteahtta Porthania-viessu bálddas unná joavkkuin. We celebrated Sámi National Day outside of Porthania with a small group of people in these extra ordinary times on the 6th of Feburary. Having the Sámi flag present in the front of the Porthania, has a been a tradition since 1993 and the establishement of Sámi studies at the University Helsinki. Today global Indigenous studies has significantly broaden the teaching and research with Indigenous peoples.
