The change is due to the renovation of the old side of the University’s Main Building. Due to the noise caused by the renovation, on Fridays and in the evenings no activities will be organised on the new side of the Main Building (Fabianinkatu 33) either. The building will close daily at 17.00.
Guided tours can still be booked from the Helsinki University Museum from Monday to Thursday, beginning no later than at 16.00. Tours can also be booked for mornings, even though the museum is only open to the public from 12.00. Walking tours of the City Centre Campus can also be booked from the Museum, but cultural walks in the Main Building are suspended for the time being. The Museum will be closed throughout July.
