New HiLIFE Proof of Concept Grants call is open

HiLIFE has opened new Proof of Concept Grants call to accelerate commercialization of research findings and development of novel technologies within life sciences.

New HiLIFE Proof of Concept (HiPOC) Grants  fill the gap between early stage research findings and getting external funding for inventions and innovations. The grants are available immediately based on applications and projects can be funded with up to 50 000 euro for a year.

HiPOC grants are for life science researchers at University of Helsinki with a doctorate who are considering or involved in an invention disclosure to Helsinki Innovation Services, or listed as inventors on a pending patent application owned by University of Helsinki. The project can have co-applicants within the University and collaborators from external organizations, but funding is granted and used within University of Helsinki.

Applications are sent to review as soon as possible. Review is expected to take no longer than a few weeks.
