Applications can be submitted by researchers, research communities and research groups. The application period is from 4 December 2020 to 15 January 2021.
The grant is funded by Finance Finland, the Finnish Workers’ Compensation Center and the Finnish Motor Insurers’ Centre. When deciding on the funding, the exploitation potential of the research in the treatment and rehabilitation of injuries that have occurred in occupational accidents and traffic will be taken into account. The research to be funded must be practical and based on a long-term approach.
Applications will be assessed by a working committee of experts appointed by the Faculty of Medicine. The dean of the Faculty of Medicine will decide on the grant recipients upon the committee’s proposal in March 2021.
