The 4th Karolinska Workshop on Metabolic Bone Diseases will be organized in Stockholm, Sweden on June 7-8, 2018. The workshop is organized by Karolinska Institutet's pediatric and adult endocrine teams. The meeting is aimed towards/at medical professionals, researchers and students from all areas of medicine. The purpose of the workshop is to share medical and scientific information about metabolic bone diseases and their diagnosis and treatment, and to advance networking and collaboration within and between the Nordic countries and more widely within Europe. The ultimate goal is to improve patient care and to facilitate research involving metabolic bone diseases.
The faculty includes several well-known experts in the field, including Thomas Carpenter, Bente Langdahl, Fernando Rivadeneira, Antonella Forlino, Michael Mannstadt, Ulf Lerner Claes Ohlsson, Johannes Grillari, and Harri Niinikoski.
