HUS Medical Imaging Center

HUS-MIC is the leading radiological organization in Finland.

It is a division of the Helsinki and Uusimaa Hospital District (HUS). HUS Medical Imaging Center provides imaging services for special and primary health care for all clinical sectors within the district and it performs the most demanding special examinations nationwide. It is also active part of Helsinki University’s teaching and research functions.

For the research purposes the organization can offer e.g. MRI, CT, US, conventional X-ray, SPECT/CT, PET/CT, EEG, ENMG modalities.

Applications:

Quantitative imaging – clinical and preclinical - with various modalities for diagnostics and drug research. Each preclinical projects should be negotiated on a case by case basis.
