A Week of Shared Knowledge and Fun
ISEW Library relies on the active participation and knowledge sharing of all the participants. Themes include common interests shared by most library professionals based in scientific libraries and research institutions. The programme covers the ever-changing needs of users shaping the library spaces as well as libraries’ many efforts in opening science from various perspectives. Participants have chance to meet their peers to discuss the mutually interesting themes.

Topics evolve yearly depending on the current projects at Helsinki University Library. Current challenges include implementing the new library platform (ALMA/Primo) in 2020. The Viikki Campus Library for Biosciences is being refurbished for the future needs of students and research in 2020-2021.
