Venue hire

Available to hire for meetings and celebrations, the Argelander Hall & East Rotunda form an idyllic venue for a variety of functions. The Observatory garden can also be used.

The Argelander Hall accommodates 24 people (with classroom seating). Without tables the Hall can seat about 60 people. You can also host cocktail events and dinners in our venue. For dinner parties, the two premises can be used together, thus the space accommodates 44 diners (32 + 12). If you want the food to be served as a buffet, it can be placed, for example, in the smaller room (Rotunda). This leaves 32 seats available for the diners at the tables. For cocktail events the venues can comfortably accommodate 70 people.

The Argelander Hall has a 90-inch whiteboard, loudspeakers and a video projector. There is also a movable 55-inch touchscreen available.

The Observatory premises are only available for hire as a single venue. The hire charge is 95 euros/hour (Mon–Wed 8–17, Thu 8–20, Fri 8–17, Sat 12–16) and 150 euros/hour outside of these hours. Please note that all venue preparations must be included within the hire period.
