Evaluation report

The HELSUS evaluation report concludes the results of an evaluation of Helsinki Institute of Sustainability Science (HELSUS). The evaluation was carried out during 2022–2023 and considers the first years of HELSUS’s operations (2018–2023). The main conclusions of the evaluation are that HELSUS has done excellent work in its first years of existence 2018–2023.

• Establishment of a community of sustainability researchers at the University of Helsinki

• Integration of sustainability in teaching and learning at the University of Helsinki
