Panel: Tradition archives meet digital humanities

Time allocated for the panel is
March 7, 2018
9:00–10:30 and 11:00–12.30

We ask for participants from our WG to participate in the panel. The reports are expected to deal with ongoing processes connected to digitization and digital humanities within the folklore archives.

Participants are asked to apply by notifying of a topic/project/method/resource of their report which corresponds to the abstract attached to this call. The length of the reports will be decided depending on the number of participants. Along with that a discussion is also planned.

Our wish is to reveal the potential of tradition archives to digital humanities community as much as to continue a purposive discussion about joint initiatives discussed in recent years.

Please send your topics to the panel moderators:

Sanita Reinsone, sanita.reinsone@lulfmi.lv and Lauri Harvilahti, lauri.harvilahti@finlit.fi.
