Applicants for teaching and research posts are asked to enclose with their applications an academic portfolio as described in the relevant decision by the University Senate. Applicants for teaching and research posts in the Faculty may submit their portfolios in Finnish, Swedish or English. Applicants for professorships are asked to enclose with their applications both an academic portfolio and a brief English-language curriculum vitae which will be forwarded to the assessors.
The International Staff Services will help employees coming to Finland from abroad, leaving Finland for another country, and their support staff. The purpose of the service is to ensure a smooth transition into Finland, as well as make it easier to move abroad. In addition, the ISS supports university units in their HR management.
