Careers at the University

Vacant professorships at the Faculty are advertised so that the appointment can be made to a tenure track assistant professorship or directly to a permanent professorship.

An appointee to the tenure track will be employed as an assistant professor for a duration of three to five years, depending on his or her background and experience. If the appointee fulfils the predetermined criteria and successfully performs the duties of the position, he or she may be appointed professor or the employment may be continued with a second contract for three to five years, after which the appointee may receive a permanent position as a professor.

Applicants are always responsible for carefully verifying the required application documents from the call for applications and for submitting the documents indicated in the call for applications by the deadline to the address specified in the call.

As a rule, applications must be accompanied by a CV, a list of publications, the teaching qualifications survey form and other documents that may be relevant to filling the position.
