The Faculty's Advisory Board

The Advisory Board’s objective is to help the Faculty develop its operations in accordance with the duties assigned to the Faculty. Through the Advisory Board, the Faculty maintains contact with the legal profession, alumni and its key collaboration partners.

The Advisory Board can provide the Faculty of Law with recommendations about strategic policies and propose different measures. It does not make decisions that bind the Faculty.

The Advisory Board usually convenes twice or three times an academic year to discuss questions related to the Faculty’s teaching, research and community relations. Through the Board, the Faculty can communicate with the legal profession, alumni and various cooperation partners.

The Advisory Board is chaired by the dean. The activities are coordinated by the Faculty's Communications and Community Relations contact person (contact comms-citycentre@helsinki.fi).
