Submission and publication of papers

Due to many people indicating that they are interested to participate the conference, but that the deadline was too soon, we have decided to extend the deadline. You can submit abstracts (500-1000 words) until June 30, 2018. Send the abstract via e-mail to both and Abstracts will be reviewed by the organizing committee. Those submitting an abstract can submit a full paper after the conference. The paper will then be reviewed and - depending on the review results - possibly published in the LUMAT journal.

The papers (max. 4 000 words) that have been submitted by May 31, 2018 are being peer reviewed to give authors constructive feedack. The authors will receive the review feedback by August the 8th to help them finalize their presentation. The submission and review will take place through the LUMAT journal’s submission system ( About half of the papers will be published in the electronic LUMAT journal as peer reviewed journal articles after the conference. The rest of the papers will appear in the same journal’s non-reviewed section.

All submitted papers/presentations should explicitly address the field of mathematics related affect, beliefs, attitudes, emotions, motivation, etc.
