The theme of the conference is Interactions, Identities, Intentions.
The goal of the conference is to promote theoretical and empirical research into internet pragmatics, and bring together researchers interested in exploring the use of language and other semiotic modes in internet-mediated interaction, with pragmatics conceived broadly as a perspective on how people produce and interpret utterances in contextualized interactions.
